Frequently asked questions
The sound isn't playing when my phone is on silent
Toots can play through the silent switch, but this needs to be turned on. Open Settings inside the app and make sure Override Silent Mode is enabled. With that on, your sound will play even when the ringer switch is set to silent.
How do I add the lock screen widget?
Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, then select the Lock Screen. Tap the widget area beneath the clock, choose Toots from the list, and add the circular widget. Tapping it launches your last-used sound.
How do I add the Control Centre control?
Swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Centre, tap the + (Add a Control) in the top-left, then search for Toots. You'll see two options — Play Toots starts your last-used sound instantly, and Open Toots opens the app so you can pick a sound.
How do I restore my premium purchase?
If you've unlocked premium before — for example on a new device or after reinstalling — open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Your premium unlock will be reactivated at no extra charge.
How do I change the app icon?
Open Settings in the app and tap App Icon, then choose the icon you'd like. Your Home Screen icon will update to match.
